Welcome to Milestone College. Established by a group of distinguished educationists and principals from cadet colleges and government colleges under the leadership of Professor Azizur Rahman, former Vice Chancellor, Chittagong University, Milestone College has evolved into an abode of academic excellence for intermediate-level students in Bangladesh. The long-standing commitment of internationally recognized professionals has been a multiplier for the college to align its curriculum and academic practices with global standards. Governed by a dedicated Board of Governors and operating with the approval of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, and the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Milestone College always remains deeply adhered to national values while upskilling the learners to be both exam-ready and future-ready.

For our students, physical well-being, skill development, and psychological and emotional health are equally important. Milestone’s Kindergarten, Junior, and Secondary School sections form a strong educational continuum, nurturing the academic growth of our students from an early age. Its five campuses across Uttara are independently equipped with modern laboratories, digitalized management systems, libraries, clubs, and societies, offering both Bangla and English versions of the SSC and HSC curricula. You will be pleased to know that the current Principal of the College, Mohammad Ziaul Alam, is a highly qualified, widely experienced, and internationally acclaimed educationist. His visionary leadership reflects a rare synthesis of global exposure, academic excellence, and expertise in artificial intelligence. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Electronics from the University of Dhaka and began his professional career at Rajuk Uttara Model College. He soon advanced in academia, joining Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, where he made significant contributions as one of the institution’s early faculty member. Subsequently, as a recipient of international scholarships in the United States, he earned an MSE in Electronics Engineering from Wichita State University, Kansas, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. His career in Silicon Valley, USA, spanned over two decades, earning him the rank of Principal Engineer, who had to actively engage in innovation, training, recruitment, problem-solving, and instructing engineers from diverse organizations across the globe. As the principal, he strives to empower the learners with knowledge, skills, and enduring values for the time ahead. His efforts to transform Milestone College into a next-generation institution will equip the learners with sustainable competitive advantages for the future.

The college has its own Quality Assurance and Improvement team, a customized Learning Management System (LMS), and different clubs for the skill development of the students.  Through systematic academic review, evidence-based evaluation, and outcome-oriented planning, Md. Russell Talukder, a vastly experienced, internationally recognized teacher, leads these teams to translate institutional vision into measurable classroom impact.
